From symptoms to options

01

Tell us what has changed

Where it hurts, when it feels stiff or unstable, and which parts of daily life have become harder give us the starting point.

02

Confirm the pattern

Examination and weight-bearing X-rays help identify the pattern and severity of arthritis, along with alignment, motion, and stability.

03

Choose the next useful step

The plan may begin with exercise, weight management, medication, bracing, or a selected injection. When surgery is appropriate, the pattern of disease guides whether partial, total, or revision replacement is needed.

Kinematically aligned knee replacement

Your knee was not built from a template. The replacement plan should not be, either. Kinematic alignment plans your knee replacement around your individual anatomy and natural joint lines. Kinematic total knee arthroplasty can be performed with or without Mako robotic assistance. When used, Mako is a tool within the plan, not the plan itself. CT-based planning can help treat specific problems like dysplasia, post-traumatic arthritis or retained hardware.

Common diagnoses

Conditions we evaluate

Knee symptoms can come from arthritis, soft tissue injury, alignment, or problems with a prior replacement. A useful plan begins by identifying which problem is actually limiting you.
