Dr. Fischer replaced my hip in August 2017. His office staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Fischer explained the procedure to me and answered any questions I had. I work in the medical field and stand for long periods of time. This was becoming quite difficult with my bad hip. Once my decision was made, Dr. Fischer's office got me on the schedule at Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center as soon as possible. The surgery went well and I was surprised that the post-op pain was less than the pre-op pain. The approach he takes cuts no muscles so I was on my feet the same day. I also went home the same day. I was only off work for three weeks. The post-op period went very well. I am now enjoying my job pain free. I cannot praise Dr. Fischer enough. He is a compassionate surgeon and his surgical skills are exceptional. He also teaches other surgeons around the country this new approach to hip replacement surgery. I have a bad hip on the other side. I will have him replace the second on as soon as he feels it is necessary to do it.

Two hip replacements and I am better off than I had been for about 15 years. I am a very happy repeat patient. Dr Fischer has the best in-office and bedside manners, gives options with advice, listens, and does it right.
